Personal opinion, but I think he body should be much wider.
Honestly good recommendation yeah he should be. During the process I was so caught up on how I wanted to progress my style I kinda lost track of that
Watch how you curve your lines when drawing muscles. His right deltoid looks rather deflated because of the curves not being pronounced enough.
Like the head. The shoulders and hips don't exactly match up with the perspective you're going for. I would suggest rendering the body as a series of three dimensional shapes to get an idea of where everything should be facing.
Would you be able to provide a visual example as to how the perspective should look? :)
Pretty okay, but I feel like you could apply more shading to match the fact that you game him a backshadow and shaded his bag. Also maybe push the exaggeration in the lines a bit more. Faust is a very thin guy.
thanks for the critique! I actually drew this about 2-3 years ago and used pretty normal anatomy as reference, mistakenly, but ill keep that in mind for future drawings!
Great colors and linework. However, there seems to be a flub with the hand, unless you wanted him to be holding up his left hand.
The arm is a bit too long for the perspective you seem to be going for, but the mood and lighting are otherwise on point.
Pretty good line art and composition. You could work on putting shadows in there to accompany the highlights.
Held out hope for an honorable mention, but it's understandable that it came up short considering the competition. Congratulations to all the winners!
Oh man, it was so hard choosing winners! Thank you so much for entering the contest and for your hard work! I really appreciate it! 💖
Generally good, but the hand in the phone pose looks a bit too small for the arm it's attached to.
Likes drawing characters and vector-like environments. In need of workplace experience.
